Palasher Biye is the story of North Kolkata Bengali joint family. The ruler of this family is Palashs grandmother Sudhamoyi Devi. Four sons of Sudhamoyidevi. The elder son is Gojen and the elder wife of the house is Biraj, next Bhajen and his wife Ratna. next Sojen and his wife Mitin. Younger son Nagen is also single now. Palash is the only child of the eldest son of this family. All of this joint family is from this country, but Palash's aunty Ratna Bangladeshi. Ratna is minority of this family. Everyone talks about this. All member of this family are supporter of Mohun Bagan Football club except Ratna. The unwritten rule of this family is not to be related to Bangladeshi. So the younger son Nagen is still unmarried. He loved Sati Sen. Sati's family from the Bangladesh. Mother Sudhamoyi Devi did not accept their relationship. Palash, the son of this family, falls in love with Shalini. Shalini's family become Bangaldeshi and fan of East Bengal club and Shalinis aunty Sati Sen who is still unmarried.
